At Beyond Digital with Paula, we strive to provide high-quality virtual assistance and in-person support for small and start-up entrepreneurs. We value customer satisfaction and aim to ensure a fair and transparent refund and cancellation process.
By purchasing our services, you agree to the terms outlined in this Refund & Cancellation Policy.
1. Eligibility for Refunds
As we provide services rather than physical products, refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Refunds are not automatically granted but may be issued under the following conditions:
A. Virtual Assistance Services
- If you cancel your service before work has begun, you are eligible for a 100% refund of the payment made.
- If work has already started but is not yet completed, a partial refund may be granted, depending on the percentage of work completed.
- If the service is already completed and delivered, refunds are not available unless there is a failure to provide the agreed-upon deliverables.
B. In-Person Assistance Services
- Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled session are eligible for a full refund or rescheduling at no extra cost.
- Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the session may be subject to a 50% cancellation fee, with the remaining balance refunded.
- No-shows or same-day cancellations are not eligible for refunds.
2. How to Request a Refund
If you believe you are eligible for a refund, please follow these steps:
- Contact us at paulablancarparas@gmail.com with the subject line: “Refund Request – [Your Name & Service Purchased]”.
- Include the following details in your email:
- Your full name
- The service purchased
- Date of purchase
- Reason for the refund request
- We will review your request and respond within 5 business days with a decision.
- If approved, the refund will be processed using the original payment method within 7-10 business days.
3. Non-Refundable Services
Certain services are not eligible for refunds, including:
- Fully completed and delivered virtual assistance services.
- Services that were provided correctly as agreed upon.
- Any customized services that require extensive planning and execution.
- Deposits or upfront payments made for long-term projects (may be considered for partial refunds if work has not started).
4. Changes & Cancellations
If you wish to cancel or modify your service, please notify us as soon as possible. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate changes, but they are subject to availability and feasibility.
- For recurring services: Clients may cancel ongoing subscriptions or retainers with a 7-day written notice.
- For rescheduling in-person assistance: Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice to avoid cancellation fees.
5. Additional Fees
- Transaction Fees: If a refund is granted, any processing fees (e.g., PayPal or credit card fees) may be deducted from the refunded amount.
- Cancellation Fees: As mentioned in Section 1, last-minute cancellations may result in partial refunds or non-refundable charges.
